Picture City’s story started on March 1991, when it was organized as a 100 percent Filipino corporation. It opened its first branch at the Limketkai Mall in Cagayan de Oro City, which is still operational today. It then expanded its business to other cities in the Visayas like Cebu and Bacolod and later, to other communities in southern Luzon and even Metro Manila itself, bringing smiles, memories, and great customer service wherever it opened.
By the early 2000s, digital imaging revolutionized photography, and Picture City quickly added digital printing to its menu. At the same time, it also added digital cameras to its inventory, quickly becoming a top seller. Later, Picture City added value-added products to help consumers better enjoy taking pictures from smartphones, like canvas prints and picture frames.
Today, Picture City has 70 branches across the Philippines, from Tuguegarao in the north to Davao in the south. With 30 years of heritage, Picture City aims to provide its customers with excellent and affordable products and services. Whatever the changes in the photography industry, Picture City will be ready to serve all, be they young or old alike.
