The studio has been the go-to photo and video coverage services provider among Pavianhons (the People of Pavia) back in the days there was a room full of VHS tapes, and rolls of exposed photographic films containing copies of special moments from people all around Panay, the potential of becoming a historical archive of memories. When typhoon Frank hit Iloilo in 2008, photos were smudged, VHS tapes became tangled in the current, and cameras and other equipments were damaged.
CPJ Multimedia Services, formerly known as Studio ni Nong Apol, is a family-owned business that was founded in 1986 by the late Napoleon “Nong Apol” P. Joaquin, one of Iloilo’s pioneer photographers.
In the early 2000’s the studio then changed to the business registered name of Faces Studio which is the inspiration for our Weddings, and special occasions photo and video coverage subsidiarity name, Himutad Studios, with the thought of getting much closer in detail; to actively look with the eye, offers a much more modern yet classic look and feel, and trendy aesthetics.
As Nong Apol pursued his career abroad, Studio ni Nong Apol has been renamed CPJ Multimedia Services, and the business has been passed down to his son, Christian Paul Joaquin. In the midst of the booming and economically competitive town of Pavia, Iloilo, the studio, now a Small Solely-owned company, continues to provide digital multimedia solutions in a fast and ever-changing scene.
