Iloilo City to Hold Virtual Christmas Events and Activities in Celebration of the Holiday Season

Iloilo City is planning to hold a series of virtual events and activities in celebration of the Christmas season. According to the Philippine News Agency, the Iloilo City Government has partnered with the Department of Tourism (DOT) and the Iloilo City Tourism and Development Council (ICTC) to bring a variety of holiday-themed events to residents and tourists alike.

One of the main events is the “Iloilo City Virtual Christmas Village,” which will be held from December 16-20. The virtual village will feature a variety of activities such as virtual tours of Iloilo’s landmarks and cultural sites, cooking demonstrations, and live music performances.

In addition to the virtual village, the Iloilo City Government is also planning to hold a series of “Christmas on the Move” events. These events will feature carolers and street performers who will go around the city, bringing holiday cheer to various neighborhoods.

Another event being organized by the Iloilo City Government is the “Virtual Christmas Bazaar,” which will be held on December 18-19. The bazaar will feature a variety of products from local businesses and artisans, including food items, handicrafts, and holiday decorations.

The Iloilo City Government is also planning to hold a “Virtual Christmas Parade” on December 20. The parade will feature floats, marching bands, and other performers, all of which will be streamed live on social media.

In addition to these events, the Iloilo City Government is also working with the DOT and the ICTC to promote “Iloilo City: A Safe Haven for the Holidays.” This campaign aims to encourage residents and tourists to visit Iloilo City and experience the city’s festive atmosphere while following safety protocols to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

Overall, it looks like Iloilo City is planning a variety of festive and fun events to celebrate the holiday season. Whether you’re a resident or a visitor, there are plenty of ways to get into the holiday spirit in Iloilo City.
