Ang Pagtaltal sa Balaan Bukid Returns to Jordan, Guimaras in 2023

In Guimaras, the annual “Ang Pagtaltal sa Balaan Bukid” will once again be witnessed in the town of Jordan on the upcoming Good Friday, April 7, 2023. This was confirmed during a press conference held at the town’s conference hall.

The street drama will begin at noon until three in the afternoon, starting from the Smallest Plaza of Barangay Poblacion to Bala-an Bukid, which is part of Barangay Balcon Melliza, Jordan. The re-enactment will be participated by 131 cast members from various sectors of the province.

It can be recalled that there was no activity held for three years due to the pandemic. This event is led by the Ang Pagtaltal sa Balaan Bukid Foundation and supported by the Local Government Unit of Jordan and the Guimaras Provincial Government.

Let’s all witness this solemn and meaningful event in Guimaras this coming Good Friday.
